We are now used to see different approaches , different products coming up in the market every single day. Fullfills probably is the first outlet in Hyderabad to offer chimney cones.
Fullfills is a brand from Mumbai. They are expecting a store in Bangalore pretty soon. Officially open to public from 19th January in hyderabad. They have both hot fills and cold fills in the chimney cone.
Lets check them out. #hyderabadfoodexplorer #letsexplorehyderabad
Ambience:
Undoubtedly one of the best and brightest interiors and decors in Hyderabad. Its got a fancy cafe look and with a lot of colours playing around.
The roof has a mix of filament styled bulbs, metal decors on the walls, well lit place. The furniture is comforting and adds on to the atmosphere.
Food:
Soups:
We started with the basics. We had Pomodoro Zupadi ( tomato soup with a slight sweetness with croutons), creama di funghi ( cream of mushroom) , Zupadi Broccoli and Mexican chicken soup.
The mushroom and Mexican chicken are my picks. The mushroom was bang on , creamy and flavorful. The Mexican soup had beans and nachos in it. A different one all together.
Appetizers:
Vegetarian:
The masala garlic bread was good, had a few peppers and chilly flakes topped with cheese and gratinated.
The nachos with cheesy sauce were amazing. Not really cheesy but does its job. The nachos are bigger , made in house and that’s the best part.
Jalapeno sticks also were good. Filled with cheese and jalapenos, mine was hollow. The filling just got out while frying. Can be checked into .
The creamy salsa tostado was a let down. Has nothing amazing or stand out. Needs work to make it better.
Pale di potato also was below par. The potato skins were burnt ( a few) . Not satisfying like the others.
The baba ghanoush was good. The pita were soft, a touch of lemon in the baba ghanoush elevated all the mild flavours.
Non Vegetarian:
Chicken and cheese balls also were really good. The classic cheeseballs with chicken in it along with tomato salsa was a decent one.
Again the nachos with refried beans and chicken were the show stopper. Would have been better if the chicken portion was higher. Just a suggestion.
Fullfills: (hotfills) (must try)
Vegetarian:
We had chilly paneer and cheesy potatoes. Both of them were top class. The cones made of bread , just perfect with the filling. The cheesy potato was better if compared.
Non Vegetarian:
Here again we had Adraki chicken, butter chicken and jamaican jerk chicken. Each one had its own flavor and outperforming the other. Difficult to choose one. All of them were amazing.
Mocktails:
The mocktails looked fantastic but didn’t taste that good. Apart from the pop corn shake and the pina colada others were pretty average. So that’s an area where they need to work.
Main course: (Pizzas and Pastas)
Vegetarian:
Fullfills special was yet another show stopper. Loaded with vegetables like broccoli, bell peppers , zucchini and others. The crust , sauce and the vegetables work together perfectly.
Al pesto genovese was spaghetti in pesto cream sauce. Much inclined towards creaminess. A touch more of olive oil and pesto would work better.
Al arabiata again tasted amazing but the name here int perfect. Arabiata is basically tomato base with basil. It was again a mix of alfredo and arabiata. But taste wise its spot on.
A small portion of garlic bread with the pasta bowls is advisable.
Non vegetarian:
The pizza needed more of the toppings. Can add some more smaller chuncks of chicken , a few vegetables if possible would have made it better.
The ravioli stuffed with chicken in the tomato cream sauce was bliss.
Desserts:
The chimney cake with assorted fillings for me was a let down. More like something which took a lot of time but didn’t wow me like the other desserts. Had whipped cream and syrups of different flavor.
The carrot cake was dense and moist. Perfectly balanced with the cream cheese.
The banoffee tart looked good but I didn’t try it out.
The baked cheesecake and the set blueberry cheesecake were really good. Probably the best set cheesecake in the recent past. (other places have just whipped cream instead of cream cheese)
The snicker inspired cake was also pretty good. Had a filling of peanut butter and chocolate.
Pricing, Service and Location:
The pricing is decent, not pretty low neither too high. !80 for veg and 200 for non vegetarian hotfills. Pizzas at 400. For Banjara hills that’s good enough.
The service was quick, prompt. No changes required.
