This is one of the best places I have been in the recent past. With hundreds of IT companies around and thousands of employees working this place is a perfect getaway. The place is named “Resign” and you’d definitely be thinking in that stream.
The place with quality yet amazingly food, priced resasonably and unbelievable drinks they serve along with the music, what else would one need. A perfect place.
Lets check them out. #letsexplorehyderabad #hyderabadfoodexplorer
Ambience:
As soon as you get in you’ll fall in love with it. The place has such amazing vibes that will just enlighten your mood. They’ve got two sections. The rooftop is another beauty.
The outdoors are perfect for breezy and cold evenings and the indoors cater from a long bar counter with the lights in motion above it. A perfect space to spend some quality time with friends.
Food:
Time to experience a change from the regular kebabs , fried frozen food and basic ones.
They actually place a small bag of groundnuts on the table for munching. Would have been better if it was roasted a bit longer.
Salad:
We had a salad called Red romance. It was nice , refreshing as well. The orange segments cut perfectly through the creamy feta and the slight bitterness from the salad greens.
Appetizers (small eats and bar bites):
Non Vegetarian:
It all started on a high. Something very unusual. Never eaten before was the crispy lamb. Thinly sliced lamb fried and tossed in a sweet chilly sauce is surely addictive. Highly recommended.
The Ghee roast chicken was yet another top one. Ah that soothing malabar parota with the mild chicken chuncks was a treat. Yet another highly recommended one.
We then had the mutton sukkha bombs. Another masterclass of a dish. Inspired from the kerala dishes, this had some coconut base mutton inside a whole wheat pastry shell.
Vegetarian:
First to come in was a pesto paneer tikka. It had a decent marination of basil pesto on it. The paneer was soft an fresh. marination could have gone better.
Then came in Resign mash cakes. These were small potato cakes deep fried and well presented with some salad on the side. It would have been much better if the sauce was generously put or given on the side.
The vada pav was presented really well. Colourful and has that rustic feel to it. Simple food presented beautifully.
Crispy corn is a regular thing that we had. Nothing much to talk about it. The quantity was generous though.
The golden basket has potlis ( with wanton sheets) with a filling of corn and tofu which were deep fried and served with some sweet chilly dip.
Beverages:
Here are some of the few cocktails they presented yesterday. The expressions and the joy they had after each and amazing looking cocktail , you can easily make it out that they were out of the world.
I had a look at the menu, some really different combnations, unheard yet a big sucess.
The mocktails when compared were not up there. Pretty basic and a little flat.
Main course:
Vegetarian:
For the mains we had a pizza. It had a good crust and some good cheese as well. Cannot complain about a pizza. (Haven’t tasted this one)(no picture)
Then we had a combo of a tikka masala with Malabar paratha. ( not sure if the dish is right , I haven’t tasted it as well.) just had the paratha and it was next level.
Non Vegetarian:
We had the pesto chicken pizza. The chicken chuncks were marinated in pesto and topped on a thin crust pizza. Would have like more of the tomato sauce on the base.
Kheema dal khichdi was pure home style one. With generous amounts of ghee, fried onion topped with some kheema was yet another bliss.
Desserts:
The first to come in was the Resign Tres leches. It was a chocolate sponge soaked in the tres leche and topped with some ganache, whipped cream , tutti fruity and some chocolate garnish. It was good and light as well.
The banoffe pie was presented very beautifully. Topped with a quenelle of chocolate mousse. Not a big fan of banoffee.
The lavender panna cotta with the subza coulis was a big hit. It was creamy , appealing , catchy some subtle lavender flavour. It was garnished with some dried kiwi as well.
Pricing, Service and Location:
The pricing is pretty reasonable. I looked at a few prices twice to double check. This gives it some extra points for the review total. Quality food at reasonable prices.
The service was smooth. Nigam took care of the table in a very friendly and a prompt way.
