Meatscape Restaurant – the land of kadaknath

Meatscape is the only pace in town serving diffent dishes made with the kadaknath chicken.

The Kadaknath is an Indian breed of chicken local to Jhabua and Dhar districts of eastern Madhya Pradesh, where it is known as “Kali masi” . Due to its high protein and very low fat and cholesterol levels, it is in high demand. Its fat content, is 0.73 — 1.03% compared to 13 to 25% in most other chicken breeds.

Food:

So it all started with the kadaknath haleem. The only place that serves this in hyderabad. Basically kadaknath is a black coloured chicken native to madya Pradesh loaded with nutrition and health benefits.
It had a rich flavour , good meat ratio with very few bones.
The mutton haleem was also good but the kadaknath was even better.
Then we had the chicken tikka. Nothing special about it.

Then came in ouzi. It’s a rice and meat preparation cooked inside a pastry casing which is cut open on the table. This is a delicacy in levanant countries.

Then we had the Afghani naan with hyderabad mutton masala. The Afghani naan was slightly doughy , the mutton masala was good enough nut need a little spice.

The star was the satrangi rice. The rice was not that flavourful but the the chicken was bang on. Nice subtle flavour and cooked to perfection.

Ambience, Pricing and Location:

The ambience is neither flashy nor too dull. For the location it serves the job.  But the only problem here is finding a car parking slot. You might find a place for one or two cars.

Now this can slightly be an issue. The prices vary from dish to dish but then there are a few dishes where you can spend a little extra.
