Palato is yet another newbie in town. I’ve been told its run by the same management of ci gusta.
This has come in place of Blanc glace in Deccan Serai hotel inside Mindspace. Palato will be the talk of the town in a few days ahead. It’s a Italian and continental restaurant.
Ambience:
It’s a 75 seater restaurant approximately. The interiors , decors and quotes stand out at the place. Loved the inside and totally amazing equipment for the food.
Food:
We were welcomed with a refreshing mint cooler , much needed after a drive.
There were 2 soups on offer , basil and tomato and creamy corn chilly chicken soup. The chicken soup was creamy and really good with breads and dips.
The appetizers were too good. The jerk chicken being the best. It was difficult to choose though. The harissa basa and chicken wings were equally good.
The vegetarians also have a good choice. The pimento cheese, ratatouille ravioli were pretty good as well.
The pasta and pizza were made to order. The pasta was creamy and the pizza was a thin crust. Perfectly done loaded with veggies.
The pre set main course had chilly crusted basa, glazed vegetables , chicken shepards pie etc. All of were made really well.
The desserts section was fabulous. The creme brulee being the best. The cheese cake and panacotta also were pretty good. The mango mousse cake needs a special mention. Ended with gelato.
Location and Pricing:
Address: Inside Mind Space, Behind Westin, In Deccan Serai Hotel, Hitech City, Hyderabad.
The pricing is very reasonable. 500 for a veg buffet and 550 for non veg at a prime location is a steal deal.
